"The Impact course embraced the entire issue of self-defense - not just the fighting, but the emotional issues that come up from past assaults and the fear women live with. Impact Bay Area gave me the place to face real dangers in our society, and pour my fears out into the class, where I learned to transform that energy from inner suffering to external, practical, self-defense." - Darcie (age 25)
