ABOUT IMPACT

Impact Bay Area's purpose is to prevent violence, promote healing and foster safe communities by teaching women and girls the emotional and physical skills to defend themselves against verbal, physical and sexual assault.

Our mission is to provide high-quality Impact training to every woman and girl in the Bay Area.

Through our years of experience, we know every woman, regardless of her age, size or physical health can learn to effectively defend herself against verbal, physical and sexual assault. In our courses, students practice physical and verbal techniques in an adrenalized state resulting in "muscle memory" - their bodies will remember the techniques in a crisis situation.
