    Public Celebration

As part of our our 20-hour Self-Defense Basics class, our students invite friends, family and supportive community members to a public celebration. Join us in supporting our students as they share what they learned at Impact. If you're considering taking an Impact class, attending a public celebration is a great way to check it out first.

Our instructors provide brief introduction to Impact self-defense so you'll learn more about who we are and what we do. You'll have the opportunity to observe our students as they practice full-force self-defense techniques against a padded mock assailant. We'll conclude with a discussion and Q&A session.

Only supportive community members and friends are welcome at public celebrations - we are there to support the students and celebrate their empowerment. If you have questions about Impact self-defense training, learn more at our About Us or browse our Frequently Asked Questions page. If you have more questions, please contact Lisa Scheff at lisa@impactbayarea.org.

Public celebrations include realistic fight scenarios that contain violence and language that are not appropriate for children under 12.
