Women's Basics Course

At the core of IMPACT's adult program is our Women’s Basics Course, for ages 18+. This three day course covers the range of holistic self-defense: from situational awareness, the recognition and use of intuition, verbal and emotional boundary-setting and effective, accessible physical self-defense. In this course we focus on attacks by a single, unarmed assailant - the most common form of assault that individuals face. We also explore issues related to fear and violence in society, and students have an opportunity to create custom self-defense scenarios. For maximum individual instruction, classes are limited to 16 students. This class is open to all woman-identified adults, and does not rely on physical fitness or athletic ability.

(24 hours, $650)

Scholarship and Flexible Payment Plans: We are committed to making our classes available to all people, regardless of ability to pay. Fill out our online scholarship form to apply or contact us at info@impactbayarea.org to learn more about our flexible payment plans.
