I'm on the Board of IMPACT Bay Area!

We are keeping the lights on right now at IMPACT in spite of Covid 19, but we really need to rely on our donors this year! We've been holding virtual classes on Zoom but we have been unable to hold public in-person classes.

I urge you to give the gift of a donation to IMPACT. I know we all want to empower our girls and women to stand up for themselves, keep themselves safe, and ensure they can work freely for what is right without fear. I know personally that IMPACT does a great deal to further that goal. My two adult daughters have felt free to do important work in the world in large part because of their IMPACT Training.

I want to raise 20K by the end of 2020! Please join with me to teach women to speak up and defend themselves against unwanted physical or psychological contact.

Impact Bay Area believes that personal safety is a right, not a privilege. Our mission is to reduce violence and promote healing by teaching self-defense, personal safety, violence prevention and empowerment.

You can also mail a check with "donation" in the memo line to:

  • Donate Monthly

Our monthly donors are the heart of IMPACT Bay Area because reliable monthly contributions provide a sustainable source of income to keep us teaching in the communities that depend on us.

100% of your contribution will go to fund our daily operations. Every monthly donation helps bring personal safety, self-defense and empowerment training to Bay Area communities by paying for course supplies like mats & suits, instructor travel expenses, space rental fees and printing class materials for our students.

As a small non-profit organization, we depend on donations from our supporters and graduates to sustain our work. IMPACT Bay Area is a 501(c)3 non-profit, so your monthly donation is fully tax-deductible.

  • Support Violence Prevention in our Community

Donate today to support IMPACT Bay Area’s violence prevention programs! Your support will help us launch a brand-new program in 2023 for people with disabilities AND continue the life-changing programs we already offer - including programs for teens, women, LGBTQIA+, women of color, etc. Your generous gifts also help us keep all of our public programs accessible through sliding scale payments.

IMPACT Bay Area is a 501(c)3 non-profit, so your contribution is fully tax-deductible. Every online donation will receive an email confirmation for their records.
