Join IMPACT Bay Area to celebrate our important work and powerful community.

IMPACT Bay Area is bringing together community members, local businesses, and class alumni for our 2019 Community Celebration. At this event, we will be raising funds to advance our mission - to help build a community where everyone has the personal safety tools to live a fuller, more confident life.  

Join us for the Community Celebration at Impact Hub Oakland on Sunday, August 11th, from 2:00 - 5:00pm.  Connect with old classmates, new friends, and community partners who care deeply about personal safety and empowerment.  Hear powerful stories from our alumni, cheer on practice fighters, win raffle prizes, and help us raise money to support IMPACT’s efforts.  

Through fundraising and sponsorship, it is our goal to raise $30,000.  Last year, our summer fundraiser raised over $25,000, and as a result, we were able to offer 30% more classes, reach over 1771 students, provide over $35, 000 in scholarships, and train five additional suited instructors. With your help, we can continue to further our strategy and connect even more women, girls and LGBT folks to empowerment self-defense.

Want to Fundraise for a Practice Fight?

Last year, over 15 IMPACT alums fundraised to participate in a practice fight at the event.  It was electrifying! If you would like to be a practice fighter, you can do so by:

• By raising $100 OR
• Commit to donating $10/month OR
• Get 10 friends to donate
