At IMPACT Bay Area, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, strong, and supported.

This summer, we’re asking for your help to raise $15,000 so we can keep doing what we do best: offering empowering, trauma-informed self-defense programs for the people and communities who need them most.

We’ve been through a season of change — leadership transitions, limited resources, and rising need across our communities. But we’ve also seen incredible resilience. Our instructors, students, and volunteers have shown up with courage and care. We’ve taught powerful skills, deepened partnerships, and made safety more accessible to hundreds of people.

Now, we’re turning to our wider community — to you — to help us keep going.

Thanks to community support, we’ve already:

• Served 550+ students with 150+ hours of instruction
• Offered all of our public classes on a sliding scale
  • 70% of participants enjoy free or reduced rates
• Granted 40+ scholarships to remove cost barriers
• Partnered with 19 organizations to teach 38 private classes
• Reached 11 cities, providing widespread instruction to community groups, including teens, LGBTQ+ students, and affinity groups.
