Join Me in Making an Impact

Dear Friends and Family,

I was introduced to IMPACT Bay Area by another board member Jen Crutchfield, over lunch at Chili’s a few months ago. In retrospect, I should have known better -- the last time Jen introduced me to an organization, I fell in love and never looked back.

I figured this time I would see what I was getting myself into before I jumped in with both feet and my whole heart. So over the past few months I met with the leaders of IMPACT to hear about what they do and how they do it. After a few meeting I knew this wasn’t an organization I could just walk away from.

Here is a little bit of what I learned: Impact Bay Area believes that personal safety is a right, not a privilege. Our mission is to reduce violence and promote healing by teaching self-defense, personal safety, violence prevention and empowerment. Impact Bay Area does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical ability, financial circumstances or abuse history.

Like many organizations, IMPACT needs your support. Every donation helps bring personal safety, self-defense and empowerment training to people who need it, and Impact Bay Area is a 501c3 non-profit, so your contribution is fully tax-deductible.
