Young Adult Course

IMPACT's Young Adult Course is designed for self-identified women ages 16-22 years old, and focuses on verbal and physical self-defense skills against stranger and acquaintance violence, including substantial additional training beyond our Teen Course. This course addresses issues commonly faced by young adults exploring greater independence, and gives students the opportunity to practice their skills in realistic scenarios against the mock assailants. Students experience the benefits of muscle memory by fighting full-force, under adrenaline. Students learn to honor and set their own boundaries, and gain the confidence and skills needed to walk through the world with an increased level of safety. Students must be 16 years old on the first day of class.

(24 hours, $650)
