Our monthly donors are the heart of IMPACT Bay Area because reliable monthly contributions provide a sustainable source of income to keep us teaching in the communities that depend on us.
100% of your contribution will go to fund our daily operations. Every monthly donation helps bring personal safety, self-defense and empowerment training to Bay Area communities by paying for course supplies like mats & suits, instructor travel expenses, space rental fees and printing class materials for our students.
As a small non-profit organization, we depend on donations from our supporters and graduates to sustain our work. IMPACT Bay Area is a 501(c)3 non-profit, so your monthly donation is fully tax-deductible.Donate

Someday "No" will be enough... until then there's IMPACT!
This year I have been both inspired and enraged by current events. #metoo has been a tidal wave, showing us just how prevalent the harassment, intimation and assault of women is. Many of us needed no reminder and no convincing of this. it's daily reality in the environment and culture we live in - for some of us more so than others. I volunteer my time and donate my hard earned money because I believe we all deserve to move about the world freely without fear.
**Someday "No" will be enough but until then there's IMPACT!**
IMPACT is an incredibly effective program that empowers women, girls, LGBTQ folks and even men too to stand tall, speak up for themselves, and fight back if the need ever arises. I'm in the process of becoming an instructor and have the chance to see first hand the kind of transformation that your donation can make possible. In our 3-day Basics classes especially -- it's physically powerful, emotionally moving stuff that literally changes lives. One recent graduate told us that her IMPACT Basics class created more healing for her than YEARS of therapy ever had.
My goal this year is to raise $2,400 by year end. $2,400 is enough to provide four full tuition scholarships to future Basics classes so that women and LGBTQ folks -- folks who otherwise could not afford to attend -- can learn invaluable boundary-setting and self-defense techniques.
Please give generously today! Your tax-deductible donation will bring personal safety, self-defense and empowerment training to people who need it most. Thank you so very much!
