I'm turning 40 today, March 21st -- holy heck! In celebration and in gratitude for these 40 wonderful turns around the sun, I'm asking anyone who feels so moved to give in support of IMPACT Bay Area. I have volunteered many an hour and given many a dollar to support IMPACT over the past decade because I believe we all deserve to move about the world freely without fear.

**Someday "No" will be enough but until then there's IMPACT!**

IMPACT is an incredibly effective program that empowers women, girls, LGBTQ folks and even men too to stand tall, speak up for themselves, and fight back if the need ever arises. In IMPACT's 3-day Basics classes especially -- it's physically powerful, emotionally moving stuff that literally changes lives. One recent graduate told us that her IMPACT Basics class created more healing for her than YEARS of therapy ever had.
