IMPACT Community Celebration

Join us August 11 from 2-5pm for our IMPACT Community Celebration at the Impact Hub Oakland! (This is the new name for the event we called the IMPACT Alumni Reunion last year.) Our planning committee is hard at work to ensure that it will be a fun opportunity to connect with the IMPACT community. Please join us! 

If you would like to get involved - we are looking for volunteers for everything from fundraisers to fighters to planning committee members. Fill out the volunteer interest form to connect!

Volunteer Opportunity at SF Pride

Come volunteer with IMPACT at SF Pride on June 30! We're thrilled to have been chosen to be part of the SF Pride Community Partner Program! That means we will volunteer at Pride and will receive a portion of the proceeds of SF Pride. We're hoping that this money can help fund our upcoming LGBTQ Basics class. The more volunteer hours we contribute, the bigger the donation IMPACT will receive! If you're interested in helping out, please email Jessica at [email protected].

Building Community for Basics Grads

Our Board Member and Outreach Committee Lead, Erica would love to invite you to our a private Facebook group, made just for those who completed IMPACT Basics. We hope that this group allows us to build relationships with those who love IMPACT as much as we do! Over the next few months, we will post announcements, ideas, and questions for you to ponder. We would love it if you could help us build a strong online community by sharing your stories, perspective, and inspirations. We will be asking you from time to time what would make this experience most meaningful to you. With your input, we can make sure to keep this space open, warm, and encouraging for our IMPACT grads.

UPCOMING CLASSES

We know that for many young people, summer is an important transition time as they begin to gain more independence and prepare to move on to high school, college, or other exciting new endeavors. We have a number of class offerings this summer that we hope will help the young people in your life gain skills and practice setting healthy boundaries and defending themselves from threats to their emotional and physical safety.

Young Adult Express This class is specially designed for women identified 16-22 year olds! 

Teen Classes (age 12-16) Still some room in our teen classes July 27-28 in Oakland and August 3-4 in Palo Alto!

And for everyone else:

Women's Basics Basics classes have been full all year, so hurry and get your spot in our Aug 10, 17, 18 class!

Intro Classes are a great way to introduce your friends and family to IMPACT

6-Hour Empowerment Self-Defense Daylong Thanks to all the wonderful feedback we got the first time we did this class, we scheduled another one August 24 in Oakland!
